COURSE CONTENT

• Detection and prevention of fire is everyone’s responsibility and when appropriate, members of any organization should be equipped with proper knowledge and safe use of fire extinguishers. Per UAE Federal Law, it is required for employers to provide adequate training in fire awareness for certain percentage of total members of their staff as per their trade license. Our Fire Safety courses will not turn the participants into firefighters, but rather equip them with the knowledge and skills to identify, report, and extinguish fire only when it is safe to do so.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

• Participants successfully completing our Fire Safety courses will gain knowledge of the following:

  • Definition and theories of fire and the “Fire Tetrahedron”
  • The different classifications of fire
  • The different types and use of fire extinguishers
  • Different parts and features of fire extinguishers
  • Understanding basic fire preventive measures
  • Necessary actions to take on discovering a fire
  • Importance of fire drills and emergency evacuation
  • Practical drills on firefighting and proper extinguishing methods
